EUROPEAN SLED DOG RACING ASSOCIATION

OUR MISSION

We hope to improve the sport in Europe, making the sleddog sport better for competitors, dogs, organizers and officials.
ESDRA is the working body of these organizations for carrying out the European Championships.
The finances of ESDRA shall be set up so that the uniformity of the sport and the effectuation of the European Championships can be financially realized.
ESDRA strives to collaborate on an equal basis with other international organizations having as their objective the promotion of the sled dog sports.

THE DUTIES

Promoting the sled dog sport.
Seeing to it that uniform race rules are employed by the member associations.
Carrying out the European Championships.
Promoting friendly relationships among the member associations.
Observing and promoting animal welfare.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER?

MEMBERSHIP

Only national associations with the sole aim of promoting sled dog sports in Europe may be granted membership in the ESDRA.
A national sled dog organization must submit a written application for membership in its own language as well as in English.
The ESDRA Congress of Delegates shall rule upon the acceptance of an application. Three-fourths majority of the congress is necessary for granting membership.
